OUR MATERIAL ANALYSIS PROCESS

A structured, multi-stage verification process — applied to every shipment of Metal Scrap, plastic scrap, and Chemicals.

1
Source Verification & Supplier Audit

Before any material is purchased, our sourcing team conducts a full supplier audit — verifying the origin, collection method, and storage conditions of the material. For metal scrap, we confirm the generator type (industrial, demolition, or automotive) and check for ISRI-grade compliance. For plastic scrap, we verify the sorting method, washing history, and contamination exposure. Only audited, approved suppliers enter our supply chain.

2
Visual Inspection & Physical Assessment

Our team conducts an on-site visual inspection of every lot before purchase — checking for grade consistency, visible contamination, oversize pieces, off-grade material, and hazardous inclusions. For metal scrap, this includes checking thickness (HMS1 ≥6.35mm, HMS2 ≥3.175mm), identifying nonferrous contamination, and performing magnetic separation tests for ferrous identification. For plastic, it includes colour sorting, contamination visual check, and bale condition assessment.

3
Sampling & Laboratory Analysis

Representative samples are collected from the lot and submitted for laboratory testing:

  • Metal Scrap: XRF spectrometer analysis for elemental composition, alloy identification, and purity verification. Radioactivity testing with calibrated radiation monitors. Explosive-free safety checks.
  • PET & Plastic Scrap: Intrinsic Viscosity (IV) testing, moisture content measurement, PVC contamination ppm testing, and melt flow index analysis — confirming grade suitability for fibre, sheet, or rPET end use.
  • Industrial Chemicals: In-house lab testing at Ankleshwar facility — active content %, specific gravity, pH, appearance, and solubility verified against international grade standards.

4
Pre-Shipment Inspection & Certification

Once material is confirmed to specification, a formal pre-shipment inspection is conducted. For metal scrap exports, a Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC) is issued by an approved inspection agency — confirming compliance with DGFT regulations and destination country import requirements. For plastic scrap, Basel Convention compliance documentation is prepared. For chemicals, full COA, MSDS, and TDS are issued and verified against batch test results.

5
Documentation Pack Issued to Buyer

Before loading, the buyer receives a complete documentation pack:

  • Certificate of Analysis (COA)
  • Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC) (where applicable)
  • Certificate of Origin (COO)
  • SGS / Third-Party Inspection Report (where required)
  • Packing List & Weight Certificate
  • Bill of Lading
  • Basel Convention Export Notification (for plastic scrap)
  • MSDS / TDS (for chemicals)

6
Post-Loading Verification & Shipment Monitoring

After container loading, our team conducts a final container seal verification and photographic record — confirming the loaded material matches the pre-shipment sample. Throughout transit, our logistics team provides proactive shipment tracking and documentation support — ensuring your cargo clears customs without delays or holds at the destination port.

What

We bridge the gap between waste collection and industrial application. Landmark secures and supplies high-quality PET flakes and recycled polymers, turning post-consumer waste into reliable manufacturing feedstock. We understand that consistency is key; that’s why every shipment is verified for moisture content, contamination levels, and intrinsic viscosity (IV).

How

Sustainability shouldn’t come at the cost of quality. Leveraging our dual hubs in the UAE and India, we source premium bales and washed flakes from a trusted global network. We handle the complex logistics and compliance required to move recycled materials across borders, ensuring you receive a steady flow of feedstock that meets your exact technical specifications.

WHY ANALYSIS MATTERS TO YOUR BUSINESS

A single off-spec shipment can cost your business far more than the value of the cargo itself — rejected containers, production downtime, furnace damage, or failed quality audits. The true cost of poor material verification is always hidden until it arrives at your facility. LGV’s analysis process exists to ensure that cost never reaches you. Every shipment is qualified against your exact technical requirement — before it ships, not after.
